MARCH EMS TRAINING

Our medical control, University Hospital Systems, provides our department with online ConEd from firerescue1academy.com. This site features EMS, fire, fire inspector, and Hazmat ConEd modules.

For this month, the BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS REFRESHER is a required training for all members to complete. If you have already completed this training at a different fire department please submit your certificate to the Division of EMS. Click the image below for direct access to the training site.

Newer members to the department should have received an email invite to create a fire rescue 1 account. If you have not received an email invite and have issues logging in, attempt to reset your fire rescue 1 password. If you are unable to successfully log into fire rescue 1 contact Lt. Lovick.

Upon completion, submit a copy of your certificate to the Division of EMS.

Infection Control Policy

Also, attached is our Departments Infection Control Policy. This is here for shifts to review at their leisure.
